May: Everything Changes

We learn a lot about life during times of transition. How do we change on the inside when the sands of our comfortable familiar shifts ground? How do we handle uncertainty and prepare for the new?

  • Ten years; What roles, relationships, and routines have changed?

  • Given those changes, what has shifted in your inner world? Think in terms of beliefs, needs, values, and how you see yourself.

  • What hasn’t changed? How do you feel about that?

As you share reflections on transitions, take note of other’s experiences. Share feedback on the strengths, insights and wisdom you hear in other’s experiences.

Closing Ritual: What am I ready to let go of?

Conclude your meeting with a exercise about releasing fears, attachments, and old patterns that no longer serve you. Use paper scraps or post-it-notes to write all the baggage and burdens, inner and outer, that you no longer want to carry.

Gather around a clay pot or firepit and take turns lighting a fire to your papers, saying aloud what you release as you toss them into the fire.

Now that you have made space for something new, what would you like to bring in? Again, make a note of your intentions. Keep your wish list in a place where you will see your words so you can manifest them.
